BROOMFIELD — The Broomfield City Council has approved a $210 million redevelopment within the Flatiron Marketplace Lifestyle District.

The Broomfield Enterprise reports that about 20 acres within the district will be redeveloped, with the city council on Jan. 8 approving $33 million in reimbursements to developers. The property is located at the southeast corner of U.S. Highway 36 and East Flatiron Crossing Drive.

Developers plan to demolish the buildings and construct up to 1,200 multifamily residential units and a limited amount of commercial space.
